The Franklin Graham Festival of Hope has come and gone….as an event. As an effect, however, it will last a very long time. To those who were saved, it will last an eternity because they gave their lives to Christ and are sealed in Him forever. What a humbling experience to be a part of that. Thank you, Lord, for letting Bluff Park Baptist Church be a part of that awesome time.
But there is another part of the event that will last: Follow up. Every person that was saved was given a personal counselor who will stay in contact with them as a mentor and encourager until a church contacts them. And a church will contact them…its part of our agreement as participating churches and we will be held accountable for it.
Pray for those who were saved, as well as those who rededicated their lives to better serve Christ. Pray for the counselors and pray for many small-group Bible studies that will spring up.
Thank each of you for your support. Many prayed, several went to the training sessions, and some served as counselors during the event each night. As a pastor, I could not be any prouder of the work you did. God bless….May His hand rest on you…His body of believers who are united as Bluff Park Baptist Church.
Trust God. Plan big. Work hard.
