We had a great turn-out for January Bible Study and the “Sing For Your Supper” event was very well received. Even though January is traditionally a month of lower attendance in churches due to weather and sicknesses, ours has held up very well. Thank you for your faithfulness and determination.
Speaking of the “Sing For Your Supper” event, I want to thank all of you who participated. I believe everyone had a great time as you led us in worship…in so many styles and types of music (and readings). The finger-foods were above par…as usual. Many have said that we ought to do that again, and so we will. I want to encourage everyone to participate next time and I look forward to it already.
I also want to urge everyone to sign up for the “Compassion Experience”. We will meet here at the church on the 21st and go as a group. I think it will be eye-opening for us to see how children in these poverty-stricken countries exist day to day. Hopefully, it will be an event that does, indeed, open our hearts to even more compassion and giving.
Say something good about your Savior and about His church here in Bluff Park.
