We were exceptionally busy this summer: Vacation Bible School, a wonderful church-wide picnic, the Graham Franklin Festival of Hope and then the Splash Bash. It was tiring yet satisfying. Thanks to all who worked so hard! Now School has started back and we have begun to settle into a new routine.
Let’s take advantage of the opportunities that are presented to us this time of the year. There will be a lot of socializing around football activities as well as other school activities. These are great times to talk to people about church and to invite them to attend Bluff Park Baptist. Never miss a chance to speak highly of your Savior and of your church.
The “Grace on the Bluff” event is drawing near so be getting tings ready to donate. I've already had people in the community ask me when it is (it’s always the first Saturday of October). Be praying that as we successfully minister to people’s physical needs, we can minister to their spiritual ones as well. What a wonder time to share the story of God’s grace.
I'm looking forward to a GREAT new church year!
Trust God. Plan big. Work hard.
